Montreal -- Quebec, Canada's largest city -- launched its 2014-2017 strategy to become a world-class model smart city after months of dialogue with citizens, municipal workers, local experts and a review of best practices around the world.
The Birmingham, UK Smart City Commission -- a body created by the city council which includes leading figures from the business, academic and public sectors -- developed a Smart City Roadmap detailing over 35 actions that aim to influence the city’s approach to creating a sustainable and better future for its citizens.
